§ 2-131. Chief of inspections duties—Generally.

The department of inspections shall be headed by the chief of inspections. This department shall be responsible for the enforcement of the zoning, building, heating, electrical and plumbing codes, ordinances and regulations of the city. The chief of inspections shall ex-officio be the city health officer, and shall be responsible for the enforcement of the housing code and all other laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to the public health.
