§ 22-141. Required.

Except as otherwise provided in this article, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell, dispose of or offer for sale at a public auction within the city any personal property whatsoever, unless and until such person and the person acting or intending to act as auctioneer, shall have first obtained a license from the city clerk in accordance with the provisions of article II of this chapter.
